Later, Gumball and Nicole are in the car, driving away. Nicole can tell by the look on Gumball's face that he is very scared. He's never experienced a friend being held hostage before. He's scared that Persian doesn't intend to keep his word.
"It's ok, sweetie," said Nicole, "Penny will be ok as long as we get the information."
"But Mom," said Gumball, "This is Persian we're talking about. For all we know, he could be lying about not hurting Penny. And worse, if Devin finds out that the information I get from him gets sent to Persian, he may think I'm a traitor." Tears slowly come down his face. "Things have really gotten bad, Mom, and it's all my fault."
"Gumball, it's not over," said Nicole. "The Power Rangers are our friends. They'll stand and fight till the end. And even if Devin finds out about the information being transferred, I'm sure he'll understand. He's been doing all this fight

Many of the buildings, if not all of them in Elmore, are filled with people; a trapped, scared, and fearing the worst. In one building, Principal Brown and Miss Simian stay close to each other, filled with fear and worry.
“Oh, Nigel,” said Miss Simian, more scared then she’s ever been in her life, “it looks like it’s over for the both of us.”
“Not just for us, Lucy,” said Principal Brown, “but for the whole city, maybe even the whole planet.”
“My days of teaching are finally up,” said Miss Simian. “I never thought this day would come.”
“We don’t know that for sure, my dear,” said Principal Brown, “there could still be hope, but the important thing is that we still have each other right now.”
“Oh, Nigel,” said Miss Simian with a smile on her face.
“If this is really our last moment together,” said Principal Brown
